Women’s Wine & Nine golf Clinic

Women’s Wine and Nine Golf Lessons in Old Orchard Beach

2026

Welcome! We at Dunegrass would love to help you discover your passion for the great sport of golf! Dunegrass Golf Club in Old Orchard Beach, Maine proudly offers PGA Class A certified instruction and classes to get you out on the links. The purpose of these golf lessons is to teach the sport in a fun, judgement free setting, while getting to mingle and un-wine-d with other women in Southern Maine. Our Wine and Nine Golf Clinic is broken out into two levels: Beginner and Intermediate. Classes are available in five-week sessions from April - August.

We recommend comfortable, athletic clothing with either sneakers or golf shoes. Persons attending should plan to meet on the putting green in front of the clubhouse with their golf clubs to review the curriculum of the day. If there is inclement weather, lessons will be held indoors, with your putters. We will address rules, etiquette, and host a Q&A session or have a friendly competition.

Each session is $395 per person, runs for 5 weeks, and has a max capacity of 16 golfers.

Golfers will receive 5 drink tickets (one for each session), valid for one glass of prosecco, red, or white wine.

Steve Briggs

Dunegrass Golf Club Operations Assistan

My passion for golf ignited at the age of 9, and I quickly found myself spending entire days at the South Portland Municipal Golf Course. Between the ages of 14 and 16, I had the incredible opportunity to caddy for renowned golfers such as Skip Kendall, Bobby Friend, and Rocky Walcher during their time on the Hogan and Nike Tours at The Woodlands.

As a dedicated athlete, I was a three-year starter on my varsity golf team, and since then, I have continually sought to enhance my skills and deepen my understanding of the game. In the spring of 2023, I joined the team at Dunegrass Golf Club. In 2025, I began offering private lessons to share my passion and knowledge with others. I am also proud to be listed on the National Registry of Professional Golf Instructors, committed to helping golfers of all levels improve their game.
